A Christ-Centered Life
Everything we do at the shelter is grounded in the belief that the Lord is using us as an instrument to make his love and presence known in the lives of other people. As emphasized in 1 John 3:15: “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need and has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but actions and in truth.”
Our spiritual direction services include devotions that aim to help people explore their faith, learn how they can apply Christ’s teachings about love, forgiveness, and selflessness in their lives, and gain strength as they start over.
Our Spiritual Direction Services
Our spiritual direction services include daily devotionals held in the morning and evening, alongside children’s ministry sessions conducted three to four times a week. These programs are led by local church leaders who volunteer their time to minister at the shelter. Through group worship, Bible studies, and prayer sessions, residents are encouraged to deepen their faith while forming meaningful relationships with others.

Exposure to the word of God through our daily devotions has been transformative for many. Spiritual redirection gave guests a sense of purpose and belonging to individuals who felt isolated or marginalized.
