❄️ Winter Reflections from Christian Shelter: Community in Action

This winter, Christian Shelter joined the national “Conversations on a Bench” event, where Executive Director Anthony Dickerson spent 24 hours speaking with local leaders about homelessness, addiction, and mental health. The live-stream reached thousands, inspiring new supporters, donations, and a deeper community conversation about caring for our neighbors.

Inside the Shelter, hope continues to grow. Local artist Jessica Schlegel donated a beautiful mural for the Respite Room, and the annual Magi Fund Christmas Concert welcomed nearly 2,000 guests while raising vital funds. We were also blessed by Shore Distributors’ gift of a new HVAC system for our kitchen and the addition of three compassionate new staff members.

Thank you to everyone who prays, gives, and serves. Together we are providing meals, shelter, and the love of Christ to those who need it most. Mark your calendar for the “Sheltering Hearts” Banquet on April 18, 2026 and consider supporting our daily needs throughout the year.
